Massive beasts known as klaxosaurs, the planet's new apex predators, have pushed mankind to the edge of extinction, and within the walls of the Plantations, things Ai (アイ, Ai) is a character in DARLING in the FRANXX. She is the daughter of Mitsuru and Kokoro, and the eldest of their four children. She is also the first child to be born to the Parasites. Ai is a little girl who bears a striking resemblance to her mother. She has long, wavy ashen blonde hair, the same color as her mother's, which she wears in different styles. As a toddler, she wears DARLING in the FRANXX. Season 1. The distant future: Humanity established the mobile fort city, Plantation, upon the ruined wasteland. Within the city were pilot quarters, Mistilteinn, otherwise known as the "Birdcage.". That is where the children live Their only mission in life was the fight. They say that Kentaro Yabuki announced something about an alternate ending, and that the Manga will go beyond the anime on the "Shonen Jump+«-Website".
